How do online/phone appointments work?

I offer online counselling through multiple platforms to ensure that we have one suitable to you or your child. Once we have booked and confirmed an appointment, I will send you an invite for the online session..

For phone appointments, I will book and confirm your appointment and call you for your appointment.

Can my child have an appointment from school?

Yes. I acknowledge how busy life can be and that the best time for a young person’s counselling session is often within school hours. Because of this, with guardian consent, I can contact the school and arrange an appointment within school hours that is also appropriate to your child’s timetable.

How can you do counselling online for children?

Thankfully for technology, there are multiple platforms that allow for us to mimic an in-person counselling session online. This includes being able to do interactive play therapy, narrative therapy, art therapy, utilise age appropriate videos and always ensure a client centered approach to build a safe space with the young person. Due to Covid-19, I have been providing online counselling sessions for young people and I am experienced in this platform for engagement.

How do I pay for my session?

An invoice will be sent to you prior to the session. I require payment prior to your session, and payment will be considered your booking confirmation. If payment is not received prior to your session, I will be in contact to reschedule it. Details for how to pay for your appointment will be outlined in your invoice. If a reschedule is required without 24hrs notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. There will be no cancellation fees if cancellation is made with more then 24hrs notice.
